What is "The Heist"?

Over the last decade, El Contador has ruled over a vast territory and empire.  After many attempts on his life, he has finally be laid to rest, only to have two rivalling lieutenants rise to take his place.  Without money, there is no power. Without power, there is no dominance.
His vast wealth was split between diamonds, gold, bara bonds, and priceless artefacts as El Contador was wary of cyber-attacks. A large amount of his wealth had been pooled to a military base and locked down in preparation for a purchase of a prototype WMD.
The base has now become a hot zone for raiders, looters, and pirates, all of which have been cut down by automated defences and countermeasures. The task force that has sought to bring down El Contador’s empire has been given the green light to impound his fortune and have deployed an EMP, which will disable his final lines of defence.
Whilst delivering the EMP via parashoot, the crate was shot down and accidentally fired upon impact, knocking out the defences ahead of schedule. The base now sits undefended and vulnerable.  Which lieutenant will rise to take control, which faction will be decimated with and survivors begging for mercy and pledging allegiance to the new ‘El Contador’?

How much will it be to book?

Early Bird Bookings from Monday March 29th

You book to play for 2 days its £80 (limited spots)
You book to play just 1 day its £50
Rental packages will be available at £10

Will there be food available?

We will be offering a free lunch on both days. 3 options will be available at the time of booking inc Fishcake, Sausage or Cheese & Onion Fritter  with Chips. We will also have a microwave for hot snacks if you want to bring your own. We will also have the usual chocolate snacks and soft drinks on sale too, free bottled water will also be available.

What will the game format  be and timings?

It will be very similar to our standard game day with up to 12 different specially themed games over the 2 days. Points will be awarded after every game. Highest points wins at the end of the weekend

Will there be any load out requirements?

It will be a Cartel v Task Force format, but we won't be as strict as in previous events. Teams will be wearing Red or Yellow bands. Obviously it would be great to see players wearing in their team load outs with elements of red or yellow in them. There will also be a single prize for the best load out of the day

Will there be a night game element?

Currently at the time of writing this section, No

Can we stay overnight?

The simple answer is no, we've looked into the logistics and insurance  for players to stay overnight, and the premiums are too high, which would make it too costly to run the event.

Can I Leave my gear on Site overnight?

Yes, we will have a member of staff staying on site overnight, your gear will be locked away until next day in a secure location
